Alexander Zverev acquired a rubber from Milos Raonic at Switzerland to earn a dramatic 13-11 win over Team World from the Laver Cup to Team Europe.
Zverev beat Raonic 10-4 for the third victory of Team Europe in a row.
Team World were 7-5 down immediately but Jack Sock and also John Isner overcame Stefanos Tsitsipas and Roger Federer 5-7 6-4 10-8 at the doubles to place them 8-7 up.
Team Europe won following Federer beat Isner and Zverev also won although taylor Fritz conquer Dominic Thiem to make it 11-7.
Fritz secured a narrow 7-5 6-7 (3-7) 10-5 victory over Thiem, while 20-time Grand Slam winner Federer, playing in his home nation, maintained that a 6-4 7-6 (7-3) win over Isner in Geneva.
Both sides had player withdrawals for injuries on the final day, together with Rafael Nadal pulling out for Nick Kyrgios along with Team Europe for Team World.
Nadal was assumed to associate Federer from the doubles and face Kyrgios in a singles tie.
Tsitsipas replaced the Spaniard in the doubles, although Thiem came in for him at the singles ties – where Fritz stood for Kyrgios.
Team World have to win the competition since its inception three years back.
“I’m very proud of my team,” explained Team Europe skipper Bjorn Borg. “I’m a very happy captain.”
